Plants in the Old Field were identified by Jerry Bilbo,
John Graham, Jay Henderson, Scott Kenny, Tracy Langbehn, Billie Mears, Will
Rhodes, and Jean-Carlo Vasquez. This is not a
complete list of the taxa in the Old Field. Collections were made in
October by students in John Graham's Biological Diversity
(BIO 106) course, and so fall-flowering plants are overly represented.
This site can be reached by taking the footpath at the end of the parking
lot near the Old Mill. Stay to the left, cross the stream bed (usually
dry), and take the trail on the right to the old field. The old field
looks out over the horse fields.
