Dr. Basil G. Englis is the Richard Edgerton Professor of Business Administration and Chair of the Department of Marketing in the Campbell School of Business at Berry College. His teaching interests include e-Commerce Marketing Strategy, Consumer Behavior, and Strategic Marketing.

Dr. Englis earned his Ph.D. from Dartmouth College, specializing in experimental social psychology. He completed his undergraduate work at Hunter College of the City University of New York. His research has appeared in more than 50 publications.

He has experience working in marketing research and strategic planning for such firms as E.I. DuPont de Nemours, Black & Decker, VISA/Moskowitz-Jacobs, Inc., Vanity Fair-Wrangler Division, and Levi Straus. Dr. Englis is also the managing director of Mind/Share, Inc., a firm that specializes in custom online consumer research and provides consulting services.
